I am currently giving whistle tutorial/lessons via Skype.
Please contact me via email, phone or Skype (noreenosullivan2013) for further details.
Recently, I had the honour to be musician-in-residence at Scoil Acla, which took place from 27th July to 1st August. Paul Durcan is the poet-in-residence. Micheál Ó Súilleabháin officially opened the event on Monday 27th July at 20.00 h followed by a concert in which myself, Micheál and Sean Gavin played together. I also gave a recital in St Thomas's Church, Dugort, on Thursday 30th at 20.30 h.
On 2nd August, I left for the 45th Festival Interceltique de Lorient (FIL) in Britanny, which took place from 7th-16th August and was attended by over 750,000 people. My husband, Brendan, was Ireland's representative at EuroCeltic Art 2015, which is the visual art event of the FIL.
On Saturday 8th August, I flew back to Dublin from Rennes to give master classes at Scoil Éigse in Sligo, which started on Monday 10th. Scoil Éigse is a series of music workshops and recitals by Ireland's best tutors and takes place prior to Fleadh Ceoil Na hÉireann, which again is in Sligo.
The Gavin family - myself and my brothers Sean and Frankie - made a rare appearance on Fleadh TV. Click on the link to view.
